The Kiosk

What is the kiosk for?

The kiosk is your gateway to the full Gold Rush City experience. It is used to:

  • Register your account
  • Add cash to your app account
  • Redeem eligible app funds in person

Without the kiosk, you cannot unlock everything the app has to offer, including access to VIP, Coinback, Missions, and the full app experience.

How do I register at the kiosk?

When you press ‘register’ on the kiosk you will be prompted to enter your phone number.  Once you have done so you will receive a text message with a 12 digit PIN number.  This PIN number is now associated with your phone number, and can be used to login to that kiosk. Please keep in mind that you can only use a phone on a kiosk once, and that you can register at multiple locations using the same phone number.

Can I use the kiosk even if I have never used any retail games?

Yes, you can use the kiosk no matter if you have played on a retail sweeps or skill game before.  These are different systems entirely.

What should I do if the kiosk is not working?
If the kiosk is unavailable or not responding properly, please contact support for assistance.

Do I need to visit a kiosk every time I want to play?
Not every time. Once your app account is funded, you can keep enjoying the app. Because the system is cash-based, you only need to visit a kiosk when you want to add cash or redeem sweepstakes awards.

Coinback is a reward feature that gives eligible players 10% back on losses incurred during the week.

It is one of the ways Gold Rush City helps players get more out of their play.

How does Coinback work?
Play games on the App with your entries and if you incur net loses on your current weekly play, we’ll give you a bonus equal to 10% of your net losses.

EX: Player purchases $100 and ends up losing all $100. The following week you would receive a $10 bonus added to your 2nd weekly deposit. So, if your 2nd weekly deposit is $100, you would receive $110 in playable entries instead of just $100. (additional rules apply based on tier)

Why is Coinback valuable?
Coinback gives players another way to earn extra value on top of the core experience. Instead of every session standing alone, Coinback helps make ongoing play more rewarding over time.
Does my VIP tier affect Coinback?

How do I add money to my app account?
To fund your app account, visit a kiosk and insert cash. Your funds will then be credited to your app account. 
Can I use a debit card or credit card in the app?
No. At this time, app funding is cash only through a kiosk. 
Can I redeem my app funds in the app?
No. App redemptions must be completed in person at a kiosk. 
Can I redeem at any kiosk?
No. App redemptions are only available at the kiosk location where you originally registered your account. 

Your account is tied to the kiosk where you first registered. That location becomes your designated redemption location for app funds. 

What happens if my cash does not appear in my app account?
Please allow a short time for processing. If your funds still do not appear, contact support and include your account information, kiosk location, and transaction details if available.

Accounts & Access

Is my account connected to my phone number?
Yes. Your phone number is part of the registration and account access process.
What should I do if I forgot my login information or PIN?
In the app’s login screen, down at the bottom there is a green link that says ‘Forgot PIN?”. Select this link, and then enter your phone number. A text message containing all of the PINs that you have created will be sent to you immediately.

If you are unable to access your account, please contact support for help recovering your account information.

Can I have more than one account?
Accounts are limited to one per customer, per location, according to platform rules and account requirements. Players should use only their own valid account information.
What if I want to use a different kiosk location?
Your account is tied to the kiosk location where you originally registered for redemption purposes. You can register at multiple locations, and will have a different PIN per location. If you have questions about your account or eligible options, please contact support
